Ghana was probably the most important experience I’ve had in my life. Skipping my high school graduation, I jumped on a plane to Africa with little idea of what it was like. On my own and very green behind the ears, a lot of things went wrong. I learned a lot about people, good and bad, but above all I learned. This trip taught me how to take care of myself, how to get around the world, and it instilled in me a lifelong wanderlust spirit that drives many of my goals and aspirations today.
